We're hiring a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering to join our crew at QOCO Systems!

This is a leadership role first. We are looking for someone who has done this before: built platform capability, raised the bar on reliability, and built high-performing teams. You know how to hire great people, develop talent, have direct conversations when needed, and create an environment where expectations are clear and accountability is shared. The technology matters, but how you lead is what will make you successful here.

You will report directly to our CTO and be part of the engineering leadership, with real influence over the technical direction of the company.

At QOCO, we develop SaaS solutions that help global airlines and MROs (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) turn complex data into smooth operations and reduced aircraft downtime. You will own the foundations everything else is built on.

What you'll be doing

• Owning the roadmap for cloud infrastructure, reliability, observability, security and AI platform foundations

• Leading two teams: Infrastructure, and Customer Integrations, who work as technical specialists on customer delivery projects

• Running the operations and outcomes of the Infrastructure team

• Treating reliability as a defined, defended number, with clear KPIs behind it

• Line managing the Customer Integrations engineers and allocating them efficiently across delivery projects

• Hiring, growing and developing the capabilities of both teams

• Balancing long-term platform strategy with hands-on execution

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering, both hands-on and leading, with teams of ten and up

• A proven people leader: sets the bar high, performance driven, and genuinely takes care of people

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management across engineering, product and commercial

• Cloud-native and platform engineering expertise from an established or high-growth SaaS company

• A track record of building scalable platforms and driving reliability as a measurable outcome

• SRE and operational excellence focus

• Security and reliability by design as a default way of working

• Understanding of AI platform and infrastructure capabilities

• Commercial awareness and FinOps experience

• Fluent in English, written and spoken

• Experience leading SaaS infrastructure through a growth phase

• AI platform capabilities in production environments

• Modern software delivery practices at scale
